January 19, 2009 Great news for digital TV in Poland after the definition of the launch of Digital Terrestrial Television (news here), there is going to see the birth of the first pay-TV cabinet in the country.
The intention to launch a bid for mobile TV was expressed by all 4 mobile phone company in the area - Polska Telephony Cyfrowa, Polkomtel, PTK Centertel, P4 which have the intention of forming a consortium to finance the 'entire project.
WOULD BE Tenders and operators to get licenses will be awarded the right to launch a tender in DVB-H to 31 May 2015 with the possibility of reaching as many as 31 cities throughout the country.
