Rome, April 7 (AP-New Europe) - Zielona Gora, a town west of Poland twinned with L'Aquila expressed his sorrow over the earthquake that devastated yesterday Aquila and its province and has run a proposal to host a group of children from L'Aquila. "The beautiful city flags will be flown at half mast for three days. The Mayor of Zielona Gora brought Italian friends here to send a group of children of Aquila to recover from this enormous stress," said Marek Starosta, a manager the Polish community. Zielona Gora, 117mila inhabitants, and L'Aquila have been twinned since 1996. The inhabitants of both cities shall regularly exchange visits at various cultural events and parties. (Source AFP)
