scientific classification of Apis mellifera: the subphylum tracheitis

tracheitis or Antenna is a systematic grouping inside the phylum Arthropoda, including the largest number of species of the animal kingdom.

Morphology: the Thracians have as primary morphological characters, a pair of antennae and mouthparts, including a pair of mandibles and a pair of jaws. The latter character, common to all mandibular, characterized Crustacea, Myriapoda and Chelicerata by hexapods, which have formed by gnat preorali mouthparts (chelicerae).

Phylogeny: Phylogenetic from the point the Thracians were one of the two branches into which it divides the clade of the mandibular, which also includes the Crustacea, and is distinct from that including the Chelicerata and trilobites. In fact, the taxonomic tree of mandibular sees two controversial interpretations. The first, based on phylogenetic relationships, groups the superclasses of Hexapoda and Crustacea in the clade of Pancrustacea, separately from the clade comprising the Myriapoda.
The second, based on morphological relations, brings together the superclass Hexapoda and Myriapoda of the subphylum of the Thracians, distinguishing it from that of Crustacea.
